Known as Rebbe Hershele Lisker (רבי הערשעלע ליסקער) or Zvi Hirsh Friedmann (צבי הירש פרידמאן), this distinguished author of Ach Pri Tevu'ah (אך פרי תבואה) ranks among the great Hasidic leaders, with teachings that continue to inspire his disciples. The Rebbe was a devoted disciple of the renowned Teitelbaum Moshe zt"l (משה טייטלבוים זצ״ל), better known as the Yismach Moshe (ישמח משה), from whom he acquired profound Torah knowledge and Hasidic wisdom. This close disciple relationship remains alive in the hasidic communities, especially among the Satmar followers, who honor the memory of both Teitelbaum and Rebbe Hershele Lisker.
